Taking your Health to a Deeper Level
Okay. You want to be healthy. What does being healthy mean? Lack of disease symptoms? No colds or flus last winter? Haven’t been to a doctor in twenty years? Or does it mean something more profound – flexibility, mental clarity, emotional balance and an unlimited flow of energy throughout your day? How about health as being defined by a deep sense of well being or comfort in your body and in the world. Can you define your life in this way? Are you healthy according to this definition? Testimonials
Dr. Jennings’s spring cleanse was more life altering then I originally thought my
first cleanse would be. I imagined… hungry for 7 days, night sweats and weird
things coming out of my body…. Dr. Jennings made this so safe for us… She took us one step at a
time from the bulking phase (the time to prepare for the fast), thru the juicing
phase and to the end which was the integration of food into our diets again.
The bulking phase was actually the phase that was the most difficult for me….
there was so much to eat that I could barely fit it all in! By the time the
juicing phase started my system was ready to go…. I was surprised through out this
whole process how nutritionally satisfied I felt …. I didn’t really think
about food at all during the juicing phase. The transition back onto food was
profound for me as I realized that I had a food allergy to soy which has been my
main source of protein for the past 5 years. What a relief to know just this
small piece of information! It has been about a month without soy and I have felt
better than I have in … well, 5 years! Amazing! This journey has pushed me into
a huge state of learning about nutrition, healing and self awareness about food
as wellness. And the lessons keep coming!
The group experience was powerful, hearing what the other participants were experiencing and sharing my
own experience was such a beautiful and vulnerable process.
Dr. Jennings’s focus on ‘wellness’ instead of ‘lets fix whats broken mentality’ is
what is most attractive about working with her. All that said, if you are asking yourself “should i do a cleanse’…. i would give you a resounding YES!
